Project Background
BHP Billiton undertook the Macedon wet gas pipeline and sales gas pipeline project in Onslow, valuing it at US$1.5 billion. They awarded the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract, worth $45 million, to Streicher-Clough JV. Handley Surveys, renowned for their expertise in high accuracy project surveying, was chosen to provide surveying services for the project. The scope of work encompassed horizontal directional drilling, construction of multiple pipelines, and umbilical installation. With their extensive experience in LNG, Handley Surveys ensured the project was completed ahead of schedule and within budget.
